
Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25 24th, 1994) is an ex-retired American artistic gymnast, and a two-time Olympian. She was captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She was awarded a gold medal in team competition at the 2016 Olympics. Gabby Douglas who was on her team also won gold. Raisman was also awarded silver medals for individual all-around as well as the floor exercise. Raisman won silver medals for the individual all-around, as well as for the floor exercise. She is also the two-time national champion in floor exercises (2012,2015), the 2012 champion national of balance beam and five-time medalist in all-around at national championships (silver and bronze in 2016 in 2010, 2011 and 2012 as well as 2012 and 2012, 2013, and). She was inducted into The International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.
